Dogs love to run, play, and explore. What better place to do that than a dog park? Treat your faithful friend to a fun excursion to a local park. Fido may also enjoy going to a new trail. Even changing up your furry buddy’s walking route can benefit him by offering him a change of scenery.

You’re the apple of Fido’s eye, but that doesn’t mean he won’t enjoy socializing with other dogs. Host a puppy playdate for your pet. Invite some of your friends and family members over, and have them bring their pups. Make the occasion a potluck, with everyone bringing a dish and some doggy treats.

Toys are not only great fun for Fido, they’re also good for him both mentally and physically. You can make your canine buddy some really cute playthings! To make your pet a rope toy, cut an old tee shirt or towel into strips. Then, braid the strips together. Next, braid those braids together. Your pooch really wants nothing more than to hang out with you. Spend some quality time with your furry bff. Indulge Fido with a long walk or a fun play session. Belly rubs and ear scritches are also great!
